Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival -

New date:  Pflugerville's Pfirecracker Pfestival returns Friday, July 3, 2015. 

Celebrate with the city as Pflugerville turns 50 years old, founded in 1965! 

Time:  3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The annual outdoor festival honors the nation's Independence Day with a day of PFUN at the city's Lake Pflugerville. The event features two stages with live music, a children's area on both the north and south shores of the lake, dozens of food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, businesses on display -- all before the pfantastic fireworks show! Stake out a spot on the north beach after 12 p.m., take a walk around the lake, or rent a kayak on site from Pflug Pfun. Best of all, the PFUN is all PFREE!

The live music lineup will be announced in the coming weeks!

Special Movie at the Beach:  A throwback to 1965, "Beach Blanket Bingo," will be shown after the fireworks show, on the North shore. Sing along with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello!

Note:  Lake Pflugerville will be closed on Thursday, July 2, 2015 for event setup and reopen at 12 noon on Friday, July 3. That includes the boat dock, walking trail and playground areas. Friday, July 3 is the observed federal legal holiday. The lake will be open to the public as normal on Saturday, July 4, other than cleanup activities in process.



SHUTTLE BUSES:  Free shuttle buses will run from Noon to 11:30 p.m., to and from Hendrickson High School only this year. There is no onsite public parking at the lake, except for those vehicles bearing Handicapped plates or hanging tags. (Designated lots available for vendors, musicians, staff and event volunteers.)

  • Application deadline is Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
  • A maximum of four (4) vendors selling the same type of individual food item will be admitted.
  • Two vendors selling the same food item will be placed on the north shore, and two vendors placed on the south shore. (For example:  hot dogs, BBQ, chicken-on-a-stick, ice cream, etc. are individual types of items. The event staff does its best to honor all sales requests. Apply early!)
  • Food vendors are limited to selling a maximum of four items of different types at their booths. (For example, a vendor may apply to sell hot dogs, French fries, tacos and ice cream as four food items.)
  • Water and soda are not considered foods item, but must be listed on the food vendor application.
